  1. hello ganesh,
am eligible for Middle Income Group but for this class (MIG)the rates of the flats are approx avg 30-40 Lakhs. as per my salary am only eligible for up to 16 lakh max home loan. in that case any option to get home loan? or should i apply only for EWS and EIG category flats?

    1. one more question-my mom and dads annual income is less than 1 lakh, we have very small business in village.so in that case i will prefer EWS category flats but what about income prof? we dont have any salary slips?

    2. You would only be able to apply in MIG , if you fall in that categeory. You can get home loan of about 60-65 months of your salary. You would need to arrange some personal loans or loan against security , if u are short of money,

    3. If the average income of your mom/dad fall below 8000/- u can apply for EWS else you need to apply in LIG (8001-20000). The bank passbook and income tax returns may help to prove their income.

    5. The income mentioned is a household income i.e. income of husband and wife counted together. If u fall under MIG, your wife would also fall in MIG.

    6. Yes it would be to prove your income. Filing returns in non-mandatory, but this may help you prove your income as you don't have any other proof.

    1. For loan formalities , it depends on bank to bank , it may or may not. Nowadays, joint applicants are preferred by bank , so you would probably get a loan with the primary applicant being your father.

  3. Income of an applicant includes income of his/her spouse from all the sources. Income includes income from any profession, business, self-employment, employment etc. but does not include, travelling allowances, car allowances, and such other allowances, which are paid as reimbursement of expenditure.

  5. Hi,
Thanks for all this Valuable Information. It Helped me a Lot.
Now as I was Applying for this MHADA Lottery there is a question "9.1 Average monthly total income of the applicant's family from all the sources during the previous 12 months(01-04-2012 to 31-03-2013): *". Now here My salary is 19K where as my spouse salary is 25K, and when it adds up its 44K.
As I want to apply for LIG and my Wife is applying for MIG, I have few queries about this..

1)Can we both apply for this Lottery in Different Schemes.

2)Can I apply in More than One Scheme.

3)As my sal is below 20K, I am thinking to apply for LIG. But do they count Individual sal or Total Family sal to Apply for a Scheme. i.e can I apply for LIG if my total Family Income is 40+K.

4)I am thinking to pay online, So After paying online still do I have to Submit the form at axis bank center or whats the next step?.

5)If I don't win a Lottery when will I get the Money Back.

Pls Help me as I am Stuck with the above Queries and not able to Fill the Application Form.

    Thanks in Advance. :)

    1. You as well as your spouse can only apply in HIG scheme and no other scheme. You both can apply in the same as well as different scheme individually. 2 applicants in 1 scheme with different names (you and your spouse) or the same name in 2 different schemes. you would get the refund within 7-20 days (based on last years information)
